The FireStorm modules perform a self test on start up. This checks that all the firing MOSFETs work correctly.
Wireless Firing Modules
There are 3 possible error codes on the FireStorm Wireless Firing System.
| Check | Description | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Check for high side MOSFET stuck ON | Flashes status LED 50/50 duty cycle 5x per second. |
| 2 | Check for any low side MOSFET stuck ON | Flashes status LED 20/80 duty cycle 1x per second. |
| 3 | Check for any low side MOSFET stuck OFF | Flashes status LED and cue LED 20/80 duty cycle 1 x per second. |
From Firmware V3.0 and above, Error codes 2 and 3 can be progressed to normal operation by pressing the BOND button. Proceed with caution!
Sequencer Error Codes
The SEQ18 and SEQ36 sequencers also have the same error codes, with 1 additional code.

| 1 | Check for High Side FET stuck ON | Displays Error 1 on LCD. |
| 2 | Check for any low side FET stuck ON | Displays Error 2 on LCD and flashes entire bank (SEQ36 has 2 banks of 18 cues). |
| 3 | Check for any low side FET stuck OFF | Displays Error 3 on LCD and flashes cue led. |
| 4 | Check for very low voltage on the Fire Rail. | Displays Error 4 on LCD and flashes cue led. |
Error codes 2, 3 and 4 can be progressed to normal operation by pressing the OK button. Proceed with caution!
